a full day seminar on the control and security of Windows 2003.
Windows Server 2003 corrected some of the major flaws
in previous versions and offers a much improved version of Active
Directory. This seminar provides
the participants with an overview of the technology, an understanding of the
critical components and the risks associated with this operating system. The Canaudit Risk / Control tables and
Windows Server 2003 Audit guide is incorporated into this class to facilitate
the participants first Windows Server 2003 audit.

Reed
Arvin, MCSE, CCNA is a senior consultant for Canaudit, Inc. Reed excels in many aspects of I.T.
security including application development, application security and penetration
testing.
Reed
holds a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology from the
Prior to
his work with Canaudit, Reed was responsible for designing, implementing, and
maintaining Windows infrastructure.
He worked as a senior programming analyst and became one of the head
application developers. He also
worked as a senior member of the I.T. security team where he made significant
contributions to securing the network environment.
Reed has
extensive experience in a broad range of penetration testing techniques and has
written many custom security tools including NBTEnum, a NetBIOS enumeration
tool, and PWDumpX, a password hash retrieval tool. Reed also spends time contributing to
the security community by discovering and disclosing new vulnerabilities for
popular Internet applications.
